2,000 Guineas Early Winners: 1800s
2,000 Guineas history is remarkably long and rich. The 2000 Guineas was first run in 1809, and the race has been an annual tradition at the Newmarket Racecourse ever since. The 2008 event is historic because it marks the 200th running of the race.
