2,000 Guineas Winners
In 2009 a stunned crowd watched as Sea the Stars, trained by John Oxx, beat market favourite Delegator in the last lengths of the race. The powerful team of Aiden O’Brien and Johnny Murthagh won the 2,000 Guineas in 2008 with Henrythenavigator.
2007 Winner, Cockney Rebel jockeyed by Olivier Peslier and trained by Geoff Huffer won the 2,000 Guineas ahead of Vital Equine. Cockney Rebel entered the race at odds of 25/1 and managed a powerful move from the rear to first place, making his win especially exciting for spectators.
